Frustration growing inside Borussia Dortmund over Bellingham

Dortmund invested over €30m in Bellingham when signing him from Sunderland.

While the youngster still has plenty of time to prove himself, internal criticism is growing, according to BILD.

He gives the team "too little power, plays too cautiously, and takes too few risks," is the accusation within the club.

That's one reason why Bellingham is still waiting for his first goal or assist in the Bundesliga. "He plays relatively flawlessly, which isn't surprising given the number of safe passes he's made".

Nevertheless, an early departure isn't on the cards. BVB is patient and Bellingham wants to establish himself at Strobelallee.

After a difficult settling-in period, both parties are aiming for an improvement in his performance by Christmas.
