Bayern Munich chief Jan-Christian Dreesen insists they remain an attractive option for the world's best players.

Bayern were snubbed by Florian Wirtz for Liverpool when leaving Bayer Leverkusen last summer and was outbid by Newcastle for former Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade.

But Dreesen dismisses the idea that Bayern Munich can no longer get the players they want.

"That is an exaggerated claim, and in my opinion it is not true. FC Bayern is still one of the most attractive clubs in the world," Dreesen told Welt am Sonntag.

"Both moved to the Premier League – but at the same time we also signed two players from England, Luis Díaz and Nicolas Jackson . And let me remind you that we signed Harry Kane two years ago."
