The Reds reportedly tried to lure Alonso following the announcement of Jurgen Klopp’s 2024 departure, but he remained at Bayer Leverkusen before moving to Real Madrid this year.
His former teammate and Al-Ahli coach Biscan believes a return to Anfield is possible, praising Alonso’s credentials.
"Xabi Alonso as Liverpool manager? I think that's always a possibility,” Biscan told BOYLE Sports.
“If he keeps on doing what he's doing, and to be successful and make a difference. Whenever you watch his teams, they are doing so well, they have a clear structure, and the quality is always there. Who wouldn't want to have a manager like him?"
