United are in contract talks with England stars Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire ahead of a crucial summer transfer window which will see the side build a squad worthy of the Champions League.
Maguire's current deal is due to expire in the summer whilst a long term deal for Mainoo is said to be in the works under Michael Carrick who is likely to become the club’s permanent manager.
The pair were recently inducted into the England side to face Uruguay and Japan in the nation’s final friendlies before the World Cup this summer.
This induction that shows how much both players have improved in recent months and Saha spoke to Ozoon about how happy he is to see the United stars back with the Three Lions.
“It's brilliant. Definitely deserved. It’s important for Mainoo and Maguire because they haven’t been there for a while.
“It’s the best time to get a call-up ahead of the World Cup, Mainoo has shown some sparks, although there is still more to come in terms of making those killer passes. He needs more games to reach his top level.
“We all know how good Maguire has been for England, it’s maybe surprising that he’s missed out on some squads.
“We can all see how United have improved and they can start thinking about the Champions League next year now.”
Tuchel will have the final call as to whether Mainoo and Maguire will be on the plane for the World Cup and the pair must impress in the final 7 Premier League games if they are to make it to the US, Canada and Mexico.
