England and Japan clash at the Wembley Stadium for one of the final friendlies before the World Cup in the US, Mexico and Canada this summer.
Following a 1-1 stalemate with Uruguay on Friday evening, England will fully change their squad for the Japan clash as they aim to continue their unbeaten run at Wembley under manager Thomas Tuchel.
Rice and Anderson are blending well
Anderson, who will be key to Tuchel, first spoke on if he's confident that he will be starting number six for England in their first World Cup game and his strong relationship with Arsenal star Declan Rice in midfield.
"I want it that way (to be England's number 6). I've got a full season left with Forest, plenty of time till then. I've got to keep my standards high and make sure it happens."
On partnership with Declan Rice: "It's really good. Since I've came him he's helped me feel comfortable, he's helped me learn on the job. The relationship on the pitch is really good.
Anderson to Man Utd?
"On and off the pitch, seeing the way he plays, I'm trying to learn from him."
Forest jumped up to 16th following their 3-0 win over Tottenham before the international break and Anderson was lastly asked if he is distracted by his future as he is consistently linked with Manchester United.
"We have the World Cup this summer, my eyes are on that. Playing for England, I've got the badge on, that's all I'm thinking about at the moment."
On being in a relegation battle: "All the games are the same, I'm just going on the pitch and doing my best. Fight for whatever strip I have on, that's all I'm doing."
England's stalemate with Uruguay saw the Three Lions fail to win their opening game of a calendar year for just the third time in the last 14 years. A win is expected against Japan as they hope to build confidence heading into the World Cup.
