The Nerazzurri were impressive on the night, with Zielinski outstanding in the 3-1 win.
He said afterwards: "We prepared for the match very well, and on the pitch we carried out everything we'd done during the week.
"We knew it wouldn't be easy against Bologna, who had been causing us problems recently, but we played a great match. We're happy with the three points."
On his form, Zielinski continued: "I think the situation has definitely changed physically, I don't feel pain anymore. The coach arrived, he gave me so much confidence, freedom, and a desire to have fun, so I was able to showcase my qualities. I always have to improve and try to give the team as much support as possible."
On the influence of coach Cristian Chivu, he added: "He gives us a lot of freedom, then when the midfielders drop back, they do it to have more space to pass the ball or leave more space for the attackers or other midfielders.
"Up front, they do a great job, and that was the case tonight as well. There's a lot of freedom, quality, and the team is working well. We're happy with that."
