Juventus legend Trezeguet was presented in the past few hours by new president Stefano Di Carlo.
The former French striker, who was already present at the forefront of the current management team's inauguration last December, will serve as River Plate's brand ambassador.
As the club explained in an official statement, Trezeguet will be a key figure in strengthening the club's identity and international positioning.
His work will be coordinated with various strategic areas—Institutional, Marketing, and Commercial—and will be focused on creating new, valuable opportunities.
Trezeguet returned to Argentina in 2012, following relegation to Primera B Nacional, playing a crucial role in the club's promotion with 13 goals in 19 games and becoming an idol despite a brief spell there.
