Taylor arrived in Rome on Thursday and is undergoing his medical this morning.

Meanwhile, Lazio are in talks with Feyenoord for midfielder Quinten Timber and have tabled a first offer to Ferencvaros for Alex Toth.

The Hungarians want €15m to sell the midfielder, while Lazio have made a loan-to-buy offer with the permanent option set at €12m.

Lazio's signing spree comes just days after Sarri expressed doubts about his future due to a lack of action in the transfer market.

Defender Adam Marusic, 33, has also signed a new deal to 2028 today. The agreement also includes a 12-month option.
