Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini is frustrated with management's work in the market since his arrival.

Thanks according to Il Corriere dello Sport's Mimmo Ferretti, when writing his editorial today.

In part, Ferretti states: "They've been searching for a center forward (better yet, two) who can cure their goal-scoring bug.

"They haven't yet managed to bring him to Trigoria, but in the meantime, they're going to play against Lecce with an extremely precarious lineup (a Primavera team that's grown a bit...) and returning to the capital with a victory thanks to goals from (Evan) Ferguson and (Artem) Dovbyk, the strikers most criticised and least admired by Gian Piero Gasperini.

"But be careful: what happened in Lecce, namely the double goal by the odd couple, cannot (and should not) change the club's transfer strategy. Ask Gasp for confirmation.

"Gasp is still waiting for the reinforcements he's been calling for, in vain, since last summer; new players for the attacking line, as we know. And he's not fooled by Ferguson and Dovbyk's one-two punch.

"GPG had dreamed of being able to count on new players (at least one new player...) ever since Bergamo, but it's hard to imagine he'll be able to do so against Sassuolo. And this, obviously, doesn't make him happy."
