Despite Sarri being critical of the move at the time of Guendouzi's sale, there has been claims the player wanted to leave due to the coach.
These claims have come from leaked audio of a conversation between a fan and president Claudio Lotito.
After yesterday's 0-0 draw with Lecce, Sarri revisited the situation, stating: "Ten days ago, a player came to my office and cried.
"To say that a player is sold because he didn't get along with me is false and unfair. The players who left told me completely different things."
Meanwhile, on talk of Alessio Romagnoli leaving for Qatar's Al Sadd, Sarri also said: "If he leaves, we'll start conceding goals again for two or three months, it's inevitable.
"I said that, from a tactical point of view, it was impossible. They replied that they were managing the transfer window."
