De Bruyne wants to have a "conversation" with Napoli over his future after not enjoying his football under the former Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea boss.
"I still have one year left on my contract, but I want to have a conversation with Napoli.
“Last year, too, certain things were said: ‘We’ll play a certain way, we’ll do this and that,’ but not much of it actually happened, and that’s a shame. I want to enjoy when I play football”, he told Nieuwsblad.
The Belgian playmaker, who turns 35 at the end of June, has one year left on his contract after joining the Italian side from Manchester City last summer.
De Bruyne's 2025/26 campaign was hampered by injury, as he made only 21 appearances in all competitions and recorded nine goal involvements.
