The 29-year-old missed out on a place in Pep Guardiola’s squad for this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup and is widely expected to leave after a dismal 2024-25.
Grealish scored just three goals and provided five assists in his 32 games across all competitions last season, playing just 715 minutes in the Premier League.
Several reports in England and Italy have linked him with a move to Napoli, however, and Grealish is currently training close to Naples.
Emanuele Falcone, the municipal councillor of Scala, let slip that Grealish has been asked about whether he will be joining Antonio Conte’s side.
Falcone told Radio Marte: "Grealish has booked our sports facility for the whole week, from Monday to Thursday. On Friday, he might pop over to Naples.
“He trained very seriously, like a true professional. Lots of fans stopped him for a photo and asked him if he really could come to Napoli? Him? Never a denial, just laughter and winks. In fact, he let slip a joke, 'You already have De Bruyne in Napoli.'"
