Italian media has had a lot of praise for Manchester United loanee Rasmus Hojlund who is loving life at Napoli.

After signing Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo United deemed that Hojlund was surplus to requirements as manager Ruben Amorim reshuffled his side who have had a dire start to their campaign this season.

Hojlund was not expected to be thrown into the starting XI straight away after his summer switch, but he made an immediate impact against Fiorentina as he found the back of the net with an excellent striker on his Serie A debut.

His strike doubled the visitors' lead after Kevin De Bruyne had opened the scoring from the penalty spot and it was the young striker that Corriere dello Sport focused on as he becomes yet another United star to find success elsewhere.

"The star of the transfer window is, of course, Hojlund, who already showed last night how he can transform the attack with his speed, resourcefulness, and aggression.

"This mix will allow for new tactical setups to be explored from game to game."

Hojlund had immediately been mobbed by his new team-mates after firing the ball past former United goalkeeper David de Gea. The report goes on to praise the Danish international who brought new life into a Napoli side who are without usual frontman Romelu Lukaku.

"Conte clearly understood this and threw him into the fray from the start. He was rewarded with a sumptuous performance: not just goals, but also plenty of movement, the usual desire to fight, and a flood of deep runs. With him up front, Napoli completely changed its face".
