Former AC Milan striker Maurizio Ganz says Santi Gimenez isn't suited to Max Allegri's Rossonero.

While he rates the Mexico striker, Ganz says Milan need to find a different type of centre-forward for Allegri's system.

Ganz, ahead of the Milan derby this weekend against Inter, told TMW: "I think Milan are still looking for a 20-goal striker. Inter have Lautaro (Martinez), who has proven to be an extraordinary player. The strikers decide derbies."

Asked if Rafael Leao can play as a No9, Ganz continued: "Yes, he's got a good approach, but Allegri thought that if he starts from 25 metres, he can reach the goal much further. I think he got it right."

And on Gimenez, he added: "I don't know, I think he's a great player. Maybe Milan's style of play isn't his style: he needs the ball in the box, while this Milan team plays a different style of football."
