It's been suggested Galliani would take on an advisory role with the moniker 'super consultant'.
Former Milan defender and now youth coach Filippo Galli joked with Tuttosport: "As (Arrigo) Sacchi would say, ours is not a country for young people. But AC Milan could benefit from his sports policy.
"I think a person shouldn't be chosen solely by someone else, but that any decision should be shared by the entire team. It's important to establish who does what and who makes decisions, otherwise there's a risk of confusion."
With Galliani, AC Milan would also gain a central figure from a media perspective, potentially overshadowing the other current Rossoneri directors.
"Everything could be traced back to him, at any moment," Galli emphasised. "It's something we need to be aware of; he would certainly be a plus in many respects, but Galliani's role is weighty, like his name."
