De Gea sent a message of support on social media to Kinsky after he was hooked in the first-half of Tottenham's Champions League defeat at Atletico Madrid.

Explaining his reasons, the former Manchester United keeper said: "What's most difficult? Everything. A goalkeeper is different from the others, from the uniform to the training.
"You're alone even if you're part of a team; it takes incredible mental strength. If you make a mistake, everyone notices.
"Only a goalkeeper can truly understand the challenges of the role."
