The Greece striker expects the former Real Madrid midfielder to eventually leave Como for a bigger club.
He said, "The best thing about Nico Paz is our understanding on the pitch.
"We train every day to improve and understand each other better. He's a top-class player, and it's important for me to have a No. 10 like him to help me score goals.
"Nico is a young player, and in a few years they'll be playing for the biggest clubs in the world, but obviously I'm happy to have him here with me now, and together we're improving."
Douvikas joined Como last January from Celta Vigo and also told Sky Italia: "My job is to score goals, that's why I'm here. I'm very happy that my teammates are helping me improve and creating opportunities for me to score. I hope to continue like this."
