Dida has worked with Maignan at Milanello and says the Frenchman is the best performing keeper in the game.
He said, "Yes, also because of his consistency. Then I'd put (Manchester City's Gigio) Donnarumma. Another one I like is (Arsenal's David) Raya from Arsenal."
Dida, on the Serie A title battle, also told La Repubblica: "I think Inter are still the favorites; they're a great team. Milan must continue to play their best, aiming to stay in the top four. Of course, there are many games left. Anything can happen.
"The gap to Inter is the result of stumbles against the small and medium-sized teams. They proved against the big teams that they are strong and up to the task, as happened twice against Inter.
"But that level must be maintained in every match. Today they could have been closer to the top."
