Fresh from their Supercoppa Italiana triumph, Napoli carried on their momentim with Sunday's triumph, which came through goals from Leonardo Spinazzola and Amir Rrahmani.
Conte said afterwards: "We put in a high-level performance; playing here at Lazio is difficult for anyone. Doing so while taking control of the game from the start isn't easy; there was significant technical polish. When we get in front of goal, we lack the cynicism we should have, but I'm very happy.
"We must continue on this path; you don't win the Super Cup against Milan, Inter, and Bologna by chance; we did it in a significant way. We're getting some important results; we'll have to play every three days, and we're always doing it with a limited number of players in the squad; the players' legs will be overloaded.
"I think the quality level, both compared to the opponent and playing away, has been very high. There was talk of away-game syndrome because we've lost seven times on the road. Everything can be improved, but I think Napoli played today at a very high level."
