Atalanta have confirmed the dismissal of Ivan Juric.

Juric was shown the door on Monday evening after a difficult four months in charge. The Croatian had taken charge of Atalanta after Gian Piero Gasperini left for Roma.

A statement from the club on Monday read: “Atalanta BC announces that Ivan Jurić has been relieved of his duties as First Team coach, along with his closest collaborators, namely Matteo Paro, Miguel Veloso, Paolo Barbero, Stjepan Ostojić, and Michele Orecchio.

“Atalanta BC thanks Ivan Jurić and his staff for their commitment and wishes them all the best for the future.”

Out of 11 league games for Atalanta since the start of the season, Juric managed just two wins.

He also lost two and recorded seven draws, with the club 13th in the table.

Former Monza and Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino is in line to be named as new Atalanta coach.
