After a year considering his options, Bove is planning to return to the pitch.
Agent Diego Tavano told Radio 1 Sport: "It's a transitional period, but we're very optimistic. We're on schedule. Edoardo is incredibly eager to play, but I can't say anything else right now.
"So let's hope we see him on the pitch soon. He training, and then we'll see."
Asked about which country Bove sees his future, Tavano also stated: "We can't say for sure. In Italy, the laws are clearly more restrictive. In my opinion, seeing him on the pitch is the dream of many Italians. Everyone, without exception, loves him."
