Al-Nassr and the Saudi Pro League (SPL) are ready to cut loose Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of the season.

Angered by the lack of spending from Al-Nassr in the January market, Ronaldo has sat out the past two SPL games in protest.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid captain believes Al-Nassr have been short-changed by Saudi financial chiefs in comparison with the likes of Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad.

Now, the i Paper says the SPL have had enough of Ronaldo's behaviour and intend to make him available this summer for €50m.

And while a return to United has been ruled out, another of the 41 year-old's clubs, Sporting CP, are keeping tabs on the situation.

The Qatari League and also MLS have been mentioned as potential destinations for Ronaldo, who is yet to declare what he has planned after this summer's World Cup.

The veteran striker's deal runs to 2027.
