With Fenerbahce chasing his signature, Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncoglu is reporting the Frenchman has rejected a two-year extension offered by Al-Ittihad.

The contract would have given the 34-year-old a net annual salary of €28 million and €4 million in bonuses.
Kanté has opted instead for a move to Fenerbahce and has already reached an agreement with the Turkish giants.
The Istanbul club will meet with Al Ittihad officials tomorrow to finalise the midfielder's transfer. The World Cup winner's contract in Saudi Arabia expires in the summer.
