Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad have reportedly reignited their interest in Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah following his recent announcement.

Salah, 33, announced that he will be leaving Liverpool in the summer, ending an incredible nine-year association with the Premier league giants.

The Egyptian winger has long been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, and that move is now looking more likely than ever.

According to ESPN, Al-Ittihad will step up their efforts to sign Salah with the club’s hierarchy viewing him as the perfect marquee replacement for Karim Benzema.

Liverpool turned down a huge £150 million for the Egypt international in September 2023, and he will now leave on a free this summer.
