Anderlecht are in talks with Motherwell over the signing of Zimbabwean winger Tawanda Maswanhise as they look to strengthen their wide options ahead of next season.

With players such as Thorgan Hazard expected to depart this summer, the Belgian team are actively targeting reinforcements in attacking areas.

Newly appointed sporting director Antoine Sibierski reportedly sees Maswanhise as a key addition for the club’s rebuilding project.

The 23-year-old, formerly of Leicester City, joined Motherwell in 2024 after making just one senior appearance for the Foxes.

He initially impressed in Scotland with six goals and four assists in 34 games, but has since enjoyed a breakout campaign, scoring 22 goals and providing two assists in 44 appearances.

Anderlecht are not alone in their interest, with several clubs monitoring his progress. With his contract running until 2027, Motherwell are expected to demand a significant fee this summer rather than risk losing him for free later on.

Motherwell finished fourth in the Scottish Premiership and secured European qualification, though change has already begun following the departure of head coach Jens Berthel Askou to Toulouse.
