Xavi admits Diaz admiration; reveals Barcelona twice tried to sign him

Diaz left Porto for Liverpool, though Xavi admits Barca made an attempt before the Reds came in for him.

Then, before he left for Bayern Munich, Barca tried again, but couldn't reach terms with Liverpool.
