With that strike, he becomes just the third German to score on his Premier League debut. Klinsmann achieved the feat in August 1994, while Gundogan followed in September 2016.
Woltemade will be hoping to replicate that feat when Newcastle face Spanish side Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday.
