Enzo Maresca blanked his players after Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Bournemouth this week at Stamford Bridge.

The Athletic says Maresca, in his final game in charge at Chelsea, decided get changed and leave the stadium without speaking to anybody.

Instead, assistant coach Willy Caballero was left with post-match media duties and to speak with the players.

Indeed, it's claimed Maresca's decision to leave without any contact was because he had already made up his mind that he was going to quit.

On Thursday, Maresca and Chelsea management announced a parting of the ways.

Talks between Maresca’s agent, Jorge Mendes, and Chelsea officials took place on New Year’s Eve and his departure was formally announced the following morning.
