Spurs have not won a Premier League match since December and following the 5-2 first-leg defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League round of 16, Tudor has lost each of his opening four matches in charge.
Tottenham travel to Anfield this weekend for a tricky match against Liverpool and despite reports suggesting Tudor could be brutally sacked, journalist Alasdair Gold has reported that he will take charge of Friday’s press conference.
“Spurs have confirmed that Igor Tudor is scheduled to take his press conference on Friday afternoon at 1.30pm ahead of the Liverpool match.”
The North London side languish in 16th place in the Premier League table and are facing threat of relegation as Nottingham Forest, Burnley and Wolves all pick up points below them.
Tudor, who has been at the helm for just 25 days could be sacked if he does not pick up results against Liverpool and Forest before the international break where the board may seek to appoint another coach to help turn the side around.
Spurs conceded four goals in the opening 22 minutes against Atletico and could suffer an even worse fate against a Liverpool side who are desperate to leap into the top 4 with less than 10 Premier League games remaining.
