Tottenham boss Thomas Frank admits he had no warning of former chairman Daniel Levy's resignation.

Levy left his position a week last Thursday.

And Frank said on Friday: "It was a big surprise for me. I found out a little before it was announced, but it still came very quickly. I have been working with Daniel for three months and appreciated it. I owe him a lot.

"I definitely had in mind a long relationship with Daniel. That was the plan. But in football and life, things change and you have to move on.

"The legacy he leaves behind is amazing. He has done an incredible job. The fact that we have both a world-class training center and a world-class arena to build on is incredible."
