Tottenham have reportedly struck an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for forward Kolo Muani in a deadline day deal.

Spurs completed the signing of Xavi Simons last week to finally end their pursuit for a No10 and have now moved on to the No9 position as manager Thomas Frank aims to add a more firepower to his already impressive attack.

This comes after Juve failed to reach an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain over the formula and figures, so the deal has collapsed on the final hurdle. Frank has now stepped in however and seeks to bring in the Frenchman, as reported by David Ornstein just 6 hours before the transfer window shuts.

“EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham Hotspur reach agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Randal Kolo Muani. Deal for 26yo #PSG striker straight season-long loan, no option/obligation, personals done. France int’l en route to London for #THFC medical.”

Reports state that the injury to striker Dominic Solanke is worse than expected and as a sale of Manor Solomon looks increasingly likely, Frank needs a replacement before the deadline shuts. Muani has been labelled as a “complete” forward by Kylian Mbappe and as he enters his prime he could be a real asset for Spurs who have already had an excellent start to the season.

Muani scored eight goals and recorded one assist in 16 Serie A appearances for Juventus last season whilst on loan and will hope to bring his form to the Premier League where he could make his debut against West Ham United after the international break.
