Swiss football chief Pierluigi Tami has taken aim at Leeds United attacker Noah Okafor.

Tami has taken issue with Okafor complaining about the "lack of communication" he enjoys with Switzerland coach Murat Yakin.

Okafor has publicly complained he hasn't heard from Yakin for over a year and that he hasn't received a call from the federation's sports director Tami.

Tami, at a media conference yesterday, says Yakin has his full support in leaving out Okafor for his latest squad selection.

"The decision by Murat is the right one," he said.

"Noah is just getting started again (at Leeds), but it's not the right time to experiment."

Tami added, "We can easily use his qualities. But I expect him to be patient and humble."
