Ekitike struck the winner on 85 minutes, but was sent-off after being shown a second yellow card for taking off his shirt and showing it to Liverpool fans.

The France international had been booked earlier in the game and despite knowing he would be shown a second yellow card, Ekitike still celebrated as he did. His first booking was also needless as he threw the ball in the air after being penalised for a foul.
After Liverpool's 2-1 win, Sutton told BBC Sport: "For Ekitike to get a second yellow card for that is just sheer stupidity.
"He's been such an important player for Liverpool so far this season - what a start to his Liverpool career, important goal - but that's not great for Arne Slot if he's sitting out the game at the weekend."
