Leeds thumped Palace 4-1 at Elland Road on Saturday night with Stach scoring the final goal of the evening.
“I think it is good, it is especially important for our goal difference,” the midfielder said after the full-time whistle.
“So we take the goal and of course the most important are the three points today. We are very happy that we got this!
“I just saw the opportunity to score because, I mean, I had already scored one (free kick) so I was confident.
“I think it was a tough game. It was difficult in the first half, we scored nearly everything out of set-pieces. That is why it is so important to be switched on in these situations.
“We need to keep going, we need to be brave, we need to go and press because then it is hard to play against us.
“I think we had many really good chances in the second half, it was a really good half and only after the goal from Crystal Palace, it was some tough minutes.”
