Slot adds two defensive youngsters to senior Liverpool training

Defensive pair  Josh Davidson and Terence Miles joined the first-team training on Wednesday.

With Slot's defensive options hit hard by injury, the Dutchman promoted Davidson and Miles in order to take a closer look at the pair.

Davidson, 20, is a right-back and has come right through the Reds youth system. Miles, 21, also plays at right-back but can step in as a centre-half if required.

As it stands,  Conor Bradley, Jeremie Frimpong, Giovanni Leoni and Wataru Endo are all sidelined due to injury.
