Fulham manager Marco Silva has remained coy on his team's transfer business which has been minimal so far this summer.

The Cottagers typically leave their summer signings late in the window, but this time around there isn't even a whiff of speculation surrounding incomings to the side in recent months. Meanwhile, every other Premier League side are making moves to improve their squads which will worry Fulham fans.

The Whites have yet to make a signing this transfer window, with the club's focus so far on contract renewals which although a good move, does not bring life into the side who finished outside the European spots last season.

Silva says he understands the fans' frustrations and that the club are busy behind the scenes despite the lack of news linking the side to top players who could help them go up another level.

"Myself as a manager, and all the managers, they would prefer to have the squad almost complete in this stage of the pre-season. Until now, it's not been possible. And I understand the fans.

"But what I can tell them is we are working hard, we haven't started in terms of signings. But we have a lot of business to do in this market."

Various reports have linked the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Reiss Nelson and even Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott to the side but they are all speculation. Fulham fans could be in for a shock in the latter stages of the window but many will feel it is too little too late for a side who seem to be relaxing when rivals steadily improve.
