It's suggested it is only a matter of time before the 47-year-old is relieved of his duties. After the club has already gone through three managers this season – Nuno Espírito Santo, Ange Postecoglou, and Sean Dyche – the personnel changes are now reaching the boardroom.
Edu left his position as sporting director at Arsenal in November 2024 to join Forest. Despite two transfer windows and investments of over €200 million, the club is mired in a relegation battle. The Brazilian is no longer involved in key decisions.
When Dyche was dismissed, Edu was not involved in the discussions regarding his successor.
