Since joining United in the summer, Sesko has 9 goals from 13 starts and 13 substitute outings under both Ruben Amorim and Michael Carrick as he continues to shine for the Red Devils.
Sesko has gathered a reputation of scoring off the bench under Carrick since the start of the year as he continues to make an impact after coming on during the second half of a clash.
Speaking to Arena Sport, Sesko’s agent Basanovic shrugged off this tag and claimed that his client should be called a super striker instead.
"If you ask me about this name (Super-sub), I don’t like it," Basanovic said. "I like ‘super striker’ much more. I think Benjamin is a super striker.
“He has started 13 games this year, coming off the bench in 13 games. He scored half of his goals when he started the game and half when he came off the bench.
“We can see that he is a complete striker and Benjamin is someone who deserves the name 'super striker!'"
Sesko is not fully fit and will not play for his country in friendlies against Hungary and Montenegro during the international breaks as he stays behind with the club.
United face Leeds United after the break and Sesko will hope to start the clash and brush off claims that he only makes an impact off of the bench under Carrick this season.
