The Argentina international has been linked with Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan amid a controversial season.

But he told the Independent: "The truth is that I am focused on the situation we are in.
"I have great respect and great love for the club, and I want to end the season in the best possible way."
At the same time, he does not close the door on what might happen further down the line.
"We'll see later, but the most important thing right now is to regain my energy so I can help Spurs," he added.
The 27-year-old defender joined Tottenham in 2022 and has a contract with the club until the summer of 2029.
