The Italian giants are looking to sign a new striker in January and were previously linked with a move for out of favour Man United striker Zirkzee, 24.
Several reports have suggested that Zirkzee was looking to leave Man Untied in January, but after scoring in the 2-1 win over Crystal Palace, he stated he was ‘happy’ at the club.
According to Il Messaggero, Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini was pushing for the club to sign Zirkzee, but that’s not looking unlikely.
It’s understood that Roma have now turned their attention to Tottenham forward Tel, 20, who has started just three Premier League games so far this season.
