According to journalist Miguel Delaney, the Italian is planning to shape the Tottenham squad in his image and has turned to former club Brighton.
It’s understood that Carlos Baleba, Bart Verbruggen and Jan Paul Van Hecke are all on his shortlist ahead of what is set to be a busy summer.
Tottenham are already in talks with Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson, and are also looking to add Man City duo John Stones and James Trafford.
