The Italy international, with less than a year to run on his PSG deal, announced his departure several weeks ago and has since said farewell to local fans in recent days.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting City and PSG are now on track to settle on a fee for Donnarumma of under €50m. Personal terms were struck around a fortnight ago.
Donnarumma will join City to replace Ederson, who is set to leave for Galatasaray this coming week. James Trafford was selected ahead of the Brazil international for defeat to Tottenham yesterday.
Romano stated: "Gigio Donnarumma has agreed on personal terms with Manchester City, keen on joining Pep Guardiola.
"Negotiations are also underway between Man City & PSG, fee will be under initial €50m request."
