Real want to find a replacement for Toni Kroos, after his retirement last summer and view Rodri as their No1 target to solve the issue.

Rodri is tied to City to 2027 and is working his way back from knee surgery last year.

AS says other names are being dicussed, though Ballon d'Or winner Rodri remains the priority.

Nicolò Barella (Inter Milan), Enzo Fernández (Chelsea), and Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool) are also being considered: All key players for their respective teams and with long-term contracts, making their departure very difficult.
