Last week’s 5-2 defeat at Atletico Madrid was overshadowed by Kinsky being removed after just 17 minutes which sparked controversy as many ripped into Tudor’s decision-making.
The Tottenham star headed straight down the tunnel at the Metropolitano Stadium after he handed the Spanish side 2 goals on a plate within the opening minutes.
However, despite the controversy, Porro has spoken to Spanish newspaper AS about how Tudor may have been right to remove him.
“A million things run through your head. From my point of view, the coach handled it well - he wanted to protect him. None of us thought he took him off because of two mistakes.
“Marcos (Llorente)’s first goal is a rocket, there’s nothing you can do about that, and the rest can happen to anyone. I understood the decision to protect him. Maybe if you leave him in, he makes three or four saves afterwards - but you never know.
“That's the message I gave Tony - that in football, many things can happen. It’s about getting back up; there is no other way.
"Many teammates sent him messages, and his spirits have lifted. I see Kinsky doing well; he's eager and motivated.”
The Czech keeper’s disastrous display in Madrid won’t be replicated on Tuesday night as Guglielmo Vicario steps in for the 23-year-old who reports suggest could seek a move away in the summer.
