Former Chelsea and England defender Paul Parker has given his stunning opinion on Arsenal summer signing Noni Madueke.

England thrashed Serbia 5-0 in their World Cup qualifier in Belgrade with the likes of Harry Kane, Noni Madueke, Ezri Konsa, Marc Guehi and Marcus Rashford all getting on the scoresheet.

Tuchel's side maintained their 100 per cent win record in the qualifiers as they edge closer to World Cup qualification. However, despite their performance as a team, many focused on Madueke.

This includes Parker, who spoke to WhichBookie about how he may be better than his England teammate Bukayo Saka at the moment.

"Chelsea let Noni Madueke go to Arsenal even though he’s one of England’s best wingers, and he was probably their best player against Andorra. He came on when Arsenal were behind against Liverpool and I think he looked really positive. I thought it was a strange decision for Chelsea to let him go.

"With the way he plays, I actually think he’s better than Bukayo Saka. Saka doesn’t go on the outside, he doesn’t have a great change of pace, and he doesn’t frighten defenders. Madueke does strike that fear into defenders because he wants to run at players and go past them."

Madueke’s speed and directness caused Serbia problems right from the start of the game, and it is certainly something Saka has missed this season. The 23-year-old completed a £52M transfer from Chelsea to Arsenal in the summer, and he has so far lived up to his price tag as manager Mikel Arteta looks over his side that has so far looked flat with Saka at the helm.
