Parker expecting Walker to stick with Burnley

Walker has just announced his international retirement from England this past week.

Parker said: "He has made that decision with our full support. That was the decision he wanted to make.

"It gives him some time during international weeks, and hopefully it can help us too."

The manager added: "As you can imagine, all eyes are right now aimed at this season. We have 27 points left to play and we will do everything we can. 

"But yes, it's a two-year contract, so I see no difference there."
