Michael Owen believes Arsenal are already considering a ruthless attacking upgrade despite ending their 22-year Premier League title drought.

The former England striker suggests that Mikel Arteta is not fully convinced by Viktor Gyokeres as a long-term centre-forward option.

The player arrived at the Emirates in a £64 million move from Sporting CP and produced 21 goals in 54 appearances during his debut season.

While those numbers reflect a strong adaptation to English football and contributed to Arsenal’s title-winning campaign, questions remain over his overall technical impact and effectiveness in the biggest matches.

"They’ve won it playing like this at the moment; that’s not to say they’re going to be like this forever. Arsenal would love to find another centre-forward – they’re not happy with Gyokeres really. They’re not happy with a couple of positions," Owen told Premier League productions.
