Orlando City are hoping to present a huge project to Tottenham star Richarlison who could leave the side over the next year.

Richarlison notched up his 250th appearance in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon as Tottenham secured a 2-1 win at Leeds United. The 28-year-old became only the fifth Brazilian in history to reach the 250-game mark in the Premier League as he continues to impress in the English top flight.

The forward has scored 3 goals and 1 assist in 13 appearances this season under manager Thomas Frank. He looks to be enjoying life in North London under new management but could soon be drawn away as reports suggest this week.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that MLS side Orlando City are interested in bringing in the experienced striker who would take their club to the next level.

“Orlando City board presented their project to Richarlison for summer 2026 with mission to London to meet with his agents.

“MLS side led by director Ricardo Moreira spoke to Richarlison’s camp, as per ESPN — but he’s a key player for Spurs now.”

The possible moves comes after LAFC’s record £20m signing of Tottenham captain Son Heung-Min who has torn up the league with 8 goals and 2 assists in just 9 appearances so far.

Richarlison has expressed a desire to stay at Tottenham for at least one more season to maintain his spot in the Brazil national team, but the project and money involved with Orlando could be too good to pass up.

Brazilian clubs like Fluminense and Palmeiras inquired about Richarlison in late 2024 whilst Saudi teams took an interest last year. Orlando could be another name to add to the list, especially as the forward looks ahead to the World Cup.
