Nottingham Forest are reportedly in advanced discussions with Sean Dyche following the dismissal of Ange Postecoglou.

The Australian was sacked roughly 20 minutes after Nottingham Forest’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea at the City Ground on Saturday (October 18).

Postecoglou was in charge for just over a month after replacing much-loved Nuno Espirito Santo, losing six and drawing two of his eight games at the helm.

Now, according to Sky Sports, Forest are in ‘advanced talks’ with former Everton and Burnley manager Dyche, 54.

Dyche has been out of work since leaving Everton back in January, although other candidates are yet to be ruled out.

The Athletic previously reported that former Man City manager Roberto Mancini has also been approached by the club.
