Nmecha told reporters today: “I have been happy to an extent.

“Some things I could have done better, a few chances come to mind now and then but generally with the chances I have had, I think I have done quite well.

“I have never played there (at Wembley) before. It would be amazing. I think for the fans it would be a good day out as well. We are close, so we might as well try and go all the way. It will be a challenge for them as well.”

On playing as a left-sided flanker in recent games, he added: “Obviously, I have played that position now for a couple of games which has been fine.

“I am glad to start the games. I am enjoying my football. I am enjoying the time here – it is really nice to be here.”
